What Sets Us Apart – Our Community

It’s at the heart of everything we do and it’s what sets us apart from other gyms, especially some of those big box chain gyms. Having worked in this industry for decades, we’ve seen what works and, quite frankly, what doesn’t work for trainers and coaches and the clients they serve. What we found is that when people feel supported and welcomed into a community, it creates a sense of belonging. And this spirit of belonging reduces the gym intimidation factor and helps instill the confidence and reassurance of knowing you’re on the right track and you’ve got a whole team behind you who are 100% invested in your success.

We may be biased, but our professional trainers, coaches, nutritionists, and staff are the best in the business. And whether they’re working with you in person or during a virtual training session, they come to work every day prepared and ready to share their expertise with you, one-on-one. At Catalyst Personal Training and Nutrition, there’s no room for shortcuts or hacks, but there is also no room for judgment. We meet you where you are. And, we know that looks different for every person. Which is why we speak beginner, elite athlete, and everything in between. So no matter where you are in your health and fitness journey and no matter what your personal goals may be — we got you.

Our mission’s holistic focus means we aren’t exclusively focused on the time you spend in the gym. We want to help you maximize and improve something we call your “Play Span” — meaning the time you spend playing sports, at work or running your business, or playing with your kids or grandkids. We do this by focusing exclusively on you during each of your training sessions to improve the quality of your movement, increase your strength in all ranges of motion, and to improve your stamina. Then, we educate you on how to sustain what you’ve learned during the times when you aren’t with us, or those “Other 23 hours.” These Other 23 hours in your day can dramatically affect the quality of the time you spend training with us, and vice versa. So our goal is to help you develop healthy habits in the gym which you can take with you and apply to the rest of your life.
